Pakaj Plast was established by three visionary women—Mrs. Ami, Mrs. Priti , and Mrs. Heena —driven by their passion for contributing to humanity and the environment. With their husbands having over two decades of experience in the textile industry, these women were inspired to create something meaningful that aligned with their values.
The inspiration struck on an auspicious Pooja divas at one of their husbands' factories. They noticed a large number of cardboard boxes, many of which were worn out and stacked up for disposal. Recognizing the environmental impact, they began discussing the idea of creating a more sustainable, reusable alternative. This conversation marked the beginning of Pakaj Plast.
The women embarked on a journey to find a suitable solution. After an extensive search, they discovered a plastic box used in the medical industry. Realizing its potential, they ordered a few samples and encouraged their husbands to test these boxes within their textile operations. The results were impressive—the boxes were durable and well-suited for storing metallic yarn bobbins.
Encouraged by the success and the significant cost savings, their husbands urged them to take the idea further. The women began manufacturing PP corrugated boxes specifically designed for the textile industry, starting with metallic yarn bobbins. As their business grew, a friend Mr. Shah from the textile industry suggested expanding their product range to accommodate various types of yarn, including DTY, FDY, POY, polyester, and nylon yarns
Embracing this challenge, they developed boxes in different sizes and specifications, tailored to the unique needs of different yarn types. Their most recent innovation includes boxes designed specifically for Mono filament yarn. The journey of innovation at Pakaj Plast continues, with the company constantly striving to advance sustainable packaging solutions for the textile industry.
To gain exposure and share the benefits of PP corrugated boxes, the women began participating in numerous textile exhibitions. These events have helped them connect with other textile businesses, educating them on the environmental and economic advantages of their products.
Today, Pakaj Plast is a flourishing business. Their husbands actively support the growth of the PP corrugated box venture by assisting with sales efforts alongside their main textile enterprises. Pakaj Plast stands as a shining example of how a simple idea, driven by passion and collaboration, can evolve into a successful and impactful business.
